Form Builder

Designing custom forms with signing services and text fields within the Papercurve UI is a game changer. Form Builder supports the creation of interactive user forms to help our customers collect the information that's most important to them. This additional layer of customization makes it easy to add a collection of fields and gather data interactively from your users.

Use Case

Whether you are constructing a sales and purchase agreement or an income tax return, Form Builder enables the creation of form fields onto an existing PDF file. At the end of your workflow, all fields created make up a single, interactive form spanning the entire document.

How it Works

Fields are first placed as an annotation and then converted into an interactive form field. With Form Builder, users can create intricate PDF forms straight from the Papercurve UI - no additional coding or plugins required. After choosing which field to add to your document, you can then select the field and edit its properties before clicking Apply Fields to permanently add it to your PDF form

Begin by selecting a form field from the top toolbar and affixing it to a coordinate on the page. Users can then select the field to resize, drag, and add properties such as multi-select, required, and read only.

Form Builder includes these field options:
  • text field
  • e-signature field
  • checkbox field
  • radio field
  • list box field
  • combo box field

Once you've finished adding your form fields and properties, select Apply Fields to view your completed form live.
