Uploading a New Version

During the review process, a member on the review team may request a new version of the content to be uploaded. In this case, you can use the Dashboard tab to upload new versions of the content. With the upload new version tool, you can add new version of the content you have previously uploaded to Papercurve without losing the original

Add a new version

1. a) On the details page of the content you wish to update, click the button with the 3 dots on the top right side. You will see the option to select Upload New Version.

b) You will see the option to Browse and locate a file from your desktop to upload as the new version. Once finished, click Next.

Your revised document has been successfully uploaded!

2. a) Once inside of the content you wish to update, navigate to the Version History menu, located in the summary panel.

b) In this panel, you can choose to upload new version by clicking on "Upload New", or you can compare the two latest versions that you uploaded by clicking on "Compare."

View Previous Versions

Uploading a new version of a file replaces all previous versions, but previous versions are still available. To see previous versions, click Version History on the right side of the content panel. Within this menu, you can toggle between between version histories of your content.

Previous content versions will have a Read Only sticker indicating which content version is being viewed. Users will also notice that all previously created annotations are stored alongside the version history they were created on. This means that when a new version is uploaded it will not contain any previously made annotations.

Migrate References: Uploading a new version with previous references

To upload the same references from the previous version onto the new version, switch the toggle that indicates "Copy references to new version" in the upload new version window. The references will appear in the exact location that they were in the previous version.

This avoids users from having to go back and forth from version to version to check past references.

Deleting Versions

To delete the newest version of a content, click 3 dots on the top right side and select Delete. You will then have the option to delete the current version or all versions of your content.
